Wits Solutions Inc (WITS) is an authorized NASA SEWP VI Contract Holder. Federal agencies and approved contractors may obtain eligible IT, communications, and audio-visual solutions and services through WITS under Contract 80TECH26D1824.
NASA SEWP VI Overview
The NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP), pronounced “soup,” provides the latest Information Technology, Communication, and Audio-Visual (ITC/AV) solutions and services for all Federal agencies and their approved contractors.
Created in 1993, SEWP was the first Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) in the federal acquisition space. The contract vehicle originally provided technology products for NASA and other federal agencies and has continued to evolve to meet customer needs. The program is self-funded through usage fees and provides acquisition support to federal agencies.
Fair Opportunity and Requests for Quotes
Contractors will be provided a fair opportunity at the individual order level, as appropriate under FAR 16.505(b), including through the SEWP RFQ tools. Documentation supporting the order selection is maintained by the issuing procurement office and is not submitted with the order.
A Contract Holder may not market, quote, or otherwise offer for sale any IT solution that is not listed under its SEWP contract until the solution is included in the SEWP database of record and is available to Government end users.
If the Government issues a Request for Information (RFI) as part of market research, WITS may include items not yet listed on its SEWP contract only when:
- Each such item is clearly identified as not yet available on the WITS SEWP contract; and
- WITS submits a technology refreshment request to add the item to the contract.
When the Government issues a Request for Quote (RFQ) or Market Research Request (MRR), WITS may respond only with items available on its contract. The price of each item may not exceed the price in the SEWP database of record when the quote is issued. If WITS does not have sufficient items on contract to respond fully to a formal RFQ, WITS must submit a No Bid.
Unless an RFQ specifically permits partial quotes, WITS must respond fully to all RFQ requirements. Each quote will clearly state its validity period, and WITS will honor an order submitted within that period. Responses to RFIs and RFQs issued through the NASA SEWP online quoting system will follow the current SEWP Contract Holder User Manual.
Government information posted on the NASA SEWP Contract Holder Only Page, including RFQs and RFIs, will be used only for responding to SEWP requirements and will not be provided to companies that are not SEWP Contract Holders for the purpose of preparing unsolicited proposals.
