WITS Solutions (WITS) is leading provider of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) / Privacy Act (PA) services and currently assisting several Federal Government agencies as a prime contractor.
WITS has over 10 years of experience assisting federal agencies with the disclosure of information, whether subject to investigation, Congressional subpoena, FOIA request, or discovery in litigation. Combined, we support a wide variety of federal agencies including the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), US Citizens and Immigrations (USCIS), the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Department of Energy (DOE), National Nuclear Security Administration Sandia Field Office (DOE/NNSA/SFO).
Our approach to providing FOIA support services is based on our extensive experience in reviewing documents to respond to FOIA, Congressional, and litigation requests for information. While we have used all industry standard FOIA platforms, including FOIAXpress, FOIAonline, Federal Information Processing Software (FIPS), Relativity and Adobe. we also leverage platforms with robust analytics and machine learning to increase the efficiency and accuracy of FOIA review. WITS has extensive experience in providing solutions for large backlogs. Our solid plan for QA and QC have key elements to our successful delivery of high-speed and high-volume document review. Additionally, our experience includes the entire gamut of litigations, appeals, consultations, referrals, and Privacy Act requests.
Our recent project highlights:
Applied content-based analytics to pre-categorize responsive documents with high value information for handling by SME teams. WITS automated and streamlined workflow, which saved 8,500 man hours. We also applied “Machine Learning” to pre-identify and redact protected information, which increased efficiencies and productivity.

The WITS Team has built model quality assurance (QA) protocols that minimize opportunities for quality deviations. By combining our quality control (QC) and QA mechanisms, we promptly identify and correct issues. A solid plan for QA and QC is critical to the successful delivery of high-speed and high-volume document review.
